LIU Credit Transfer Policy
LeadImpact University values the academic pursuits of its students and recognizes the importance of facilitating credit transfers to promote a seamless educational journey. This Credit Transfer Policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for students seeking to transfer credits from other institutions to LeadImpact University, located in Denver, Colorado, USA.
Eligibility for Credit Transfer
Students seeking credit transfer must have been admitted to LeadImpact University and must be enrolled in a degree program.
Transfer credit eligibility is determined by an evaluation of the previously completed coursework, taking into consideration the comparability, content, and quality of the courses.
General Transfer Credit Guidelines
LeadImpact University accepts transfer credits from regionally accredited institutions or those recognized by an equivalent accrediting body.
Credits from courses with a grade of 'C' (2.0) or higher may be considered for transfer. Credit hours and grades earned at other institutions do not factor into a student's GPA at LeadImpact University.
Credit transfer requests for courses that are not directly equivalent to LeadImpact University courses may be subject to review by the admissions departments.
Transfer Process
Students must complete and submit the official Transfer Credit Evaluation Request Form to the Registrar's Office.
The Registrar's Office will review the official transcripts, syllabi, and course descriptions from the transferring institution to determine the transferability of credits.
For courses that meet the transfer criteria, the Registrar's Office will communicate the approved transfer credits to the student and update their academic record accordingly.
Students will receive a notice of any denied transfer credits, along with information about the appeal process.

LeadImpact University reserves the right to refuse transfer credits that do not align with the curriculum or academic standards of the university.
Technical, vocational, or remedial courses may not be eligible for credit transfer.
Credit transfer for courses taken more than a certain number of years prior to enrollment may be subject to further evaluation by the Registrar's Office or relevant academic department.

The appeal should include relevant information, such as course syllabi, assignments, and any other documentation that supports the equivalency of the courses in question.
