Christian Leadership like Biblical Leadership center around the Chronological Forbearing of the Ethics and general Moral Conduct of Israel and the possible modification of certain of her precepts for the betterment and successful administration of the present-day church
While in the Old Testament, Israel had the Patriarchs, Prophets, Priests and Levites; also Monarchs, Kings and Judges. It is not so in Christian Leadership. The leaders of Old Testament Israel operated under the law, but today, Christian leadership follows the pattern of Jesus Christ.
Christian Leadership differs because the government has also changed. The Leadership of the Church is different because, where they had tit-for-tat system, the Christian Church has grace. In the New Testament, Christian Leadership includes Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers; with Elders and Deacons. However, Biblical Leadership or Christian Leadership concerns itself with the quest for human development, welfare and advancement of the Kingdom of God.
